I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve never had any urge to ever write a 10 page manifesto about my place of employment and distribute it widely, nor do I think anyone would want to read it. The sheer entitlement of it is just staggering.

I also love the Syfy adaptation. It had the breathing room to tell a story, even if some of the effects don’t hold up as well.

There was a TV version produced that’s a full 3 hours long and restores a bunch of stuff, but it shouldn’t be viewed as a director’s cut because Lynch wasn’t involved and even had his name removed from the credits. Still, if you can find a copy, it will give you an idea of what else he shot.

Doing the math the penalty for a first degree misdemeanor (which I assume this tresspass is under) is either 1 year in jail / $1000 fine. If it’s just the fine, I think this man got the cheapest 4-day-3-night all-inclusive Disney vacation deal of the century.
