I get the frustration, but you can get around this paywall pretty handily with a blank NFC tag (around $.50 a piece), Google, and your phone. I did it when BotW amiibos came out b/c they were ridiculously hard to find and I don’t feed scalpers. Worked like a charm.

I don’t know what Nintendo is thinking with this new Amiibo trend, but giving single-player games convenient, P2W features if this continues is going to be quite the turn off.

Seeing a trend with this lately, and it sucks. The Bowser’s Fury ability to trigger him whenever you wanted with a Bowser amiibo was also some bullshit.

If it was a triple pack with DA2 and CoN, and they were updated to have co-op over the net, then they would be worth this price.

I am the target market for this.  Trust me, I WANT these games. I would pay a reasonable price.

You definitely have a point. But it is fitting into a weird niche where there just aren’t any ps5 games to play. I played Astros and Demons Souls and other than that I just play PS4 games on my PS5.
