Humans are complicated animals. It’s entirely possible for a greedy company that falsely advertises their games and denies developers bonuses while the owner pockets millions to still have enough morals to promote trans rights. I’m not saying you’re wrong, just saying it’s possible. Even the worst assholes in the

Besides the lack of backwards compatibility for systems older than the PS4, this is the main feature I hope Sony eventually catches up to Microsoft with. PlayStation’s why-bother-with-old-games attitude is starting to annoy me, especially with the lack of games with new-gen versions out right now.

Same here. I wait for the next one to come out, then buy the previous version.

It is kinda wild. But the version of Sakura Succubus on Switch would be the standard version that you’d get on Steam, without the 18+ patch. Same with all the Nekopara games. They’re actually all on PlayStation as well, all rated T for Teen. So obviously not the full uncut versions.

I don’t know if it’s a regional thing or not, but Waifu Uncovered is partially censored on Switch in North America. They allow the boobies, but the crotches are always covered.

Yup. About 6 years ago the Canadian dollar started taking a nosedive, and AAA game prices started going up in $5 increments until they hit $80 about a year later. A couple of years after that, the PlayStation Store even started to adjust the exchange rate on lower priced games, so a $20 indie title became $27, a $40

Look - I hope I’m wrong. I like Housemarque quite a bit, and don’t want to see anything bad happen to them, especially after they had to stop making the arcade-style games they were known for because they weren’t selling. That’s the history I don’t want to see repeat.

I’m not one of them. But I’ll admit that I might be a special case. I just think if they priced this one a little lower (and it turns out to be a really good game), every PS5 owner would be grabbing this up. As it is, I think they’re limiting their audience a bit, in an audience that isn’t as big as it could be due to

Yeah, I have a huge backlog myself, which means that it doesn’t bother me much to wait for a game to drop in price. My PS5 has been pretty much a PS4 Pro with snappier menus since I got it.

Metroid elements are a good way to get me interested in a game as well. Really curious to see the reviews on this one to see how much Metroid is in there.

I feel bad for Housemarque. I think there’s gonna be a lot of people interested in this game, but very few people are gonna buy it day 1 once they see the price tag.

Housemarque has always had really good gun mechanics in their games, and there aren’t too many third-person shooter roguelikes out there.

Noice.

I wish FromSoft would try a similar tactic with their games - just with difficulty, not horror elements. Some people would like to experience the worlds they’ve created, without the punishing difficulty.

Yup. You could just post the headline right now

Yeah, Whedon got the idea in his head to shake up the dynamic of the team in an unexpected way, but totally missed the mark with the Bruce/Natasha relationship. I wasn’t completely opposed to the idea in principle, but they screwed up the execution badly. What it did to the character of Natasha was the worst of it,

I can easily see how it made it through most of the production process. The final version of the scene could’ve went through a hundred edits before ending up the way it did. And anyone involved in the production, already knowing the original intention of the scene, wouldn’t interpret the dialogue any other way.

I propose that the scene is poorly written and poorly edited, and thus opens it up to the misinterpretation. The fact that this is widely believed to be the interpretation of the scene proves this.

Thanks for pointing out the misinterpretation of that scene, something that always bothered me. Lots of other reasons to criticize Whedon’s writing without misrepresentation.

I’ll preface this by saying that I am in no way defending Whedon, that, despite being a fan of his work for many years, I realize now is a piece of shit.
