I love this. I think it's an interesting social experiment that puts men in a (nonthreatening, by the way) position they have likely never been put in before that women deal with all the time.

So disturbing. And she is pregnant. I cannot imagine how this woman is allowed near children after abusing/torturing someone so vulnerable.

In regard to LW1, in my observation, I feel like people tend to be the most shaming and judge-y of things they personally are most insecure about. They seem to project it onto others, some people moreso. Regardless, what kind of weirdo says that kind of thing to a friend?? Not cool.

re: Tyrion and Shae's leg.....do you think the same fate for her in the series as in the books??? She seems to be so differently portrayed in the series that I am praying she has a different path...

Not a ton to time to look into it now but isn't it very simplistic to say Franklin just wanted people to rise earlier? Doesn't it have to do with making the calendar year make more sense or something? (Someone help me with this. Friday afternoons short circuit my brain).

Photos that are not aggressively retouched are so surprising to my eyes! I know rationally that magazines are photoshopped a ton but to see these people, looking awesome, but 3-D, with shadows and flaps of skin and not a perfectly smooth everything is really cool. They are great.

True! And as someone else said, he is focusing his attention not on Dylan but on Mia's character, trying to cast her as the mastermind behind all this. It is so sickening. It is calculated manipulation. It does not matter if Mia was unfaithful, was batshit crazy, whatever. Your adult daughter is standing by the abuse

YES!! This show is perfection. Smart, funny, insightful. And lines like in that brilliant gif you've shared.

Ha! Truce. I hope your day has improved. I also get annoyed when people misuse the term sociopath. Apparently it was put into play to dispel the notion that all psychopaths (original term) are violent, to emphasize the anti-social nature of it instead. So I feel ya.

That's why I stated "violent sociopath" instead of just "sociopath." You are correct, most are not violent. The violent ones are pretty damn scary though eh?

Not commenting on the death penalty in particular but this woman fits the exact bill of a violent sociopath (AntiSocialPD, whatever you want to call it). Torture and abuse to "weaker" people (the mentally-disabled victim and the abuses against her daughter); lying to garner sympathy (a lot of sociopaths use pity as a

I'm with you. I noticed it and I think it is worth commenting on because photos are usually so photoshopped that they edit out every single skin fold. This was noteworthy to me and I think she looks lovely and natural. It just makes people look so attractive to me in print ads when they maintain their humanity and do

I am a psychotherapist and I have treated a couple of young people with what I believe have true antisocial tendencies. I do think treatment can help a lot, especially when trauma and neglect are involved (I have an adolescent and a boy right now who have done some things to animals that haunt me). Emdr, which is an

Yes, it's the choice of Dunham that feels unsavory to me. Like, really? I get the photoshop of horrors and I usually like seeing them dismantle a lot of what we deem to be "attractive" or "sellable" retouching, especially of women. But of all the magazine photos I see daily where a well-known actress is rendered

Lindy may I just please implore you to write up an analysis of the new Game of Thrones trailer like you did last year!!! PLEAZZZZZ

I mean....I can't. That is so awful and sad. By one week I couldn't even walk after my first child! (tough delivery, and I didn't even have a C section) And the baby doesn't even sleep through the night for the first few months. It is just a pathetic state of affairs but it's just a women's issue, shrug. Never mind

Yes! I read that same article. I see some ppl speculating that because of her hard-partying lyrics, that they suspect there is also drug and alcohol abuse, and as the article says, have you ever seen a paparazzi photo of her leaving a bar or club, looking messy?

In Elle magazine's gift guide, there was a 24-carat gold plated XBox. Xbox 360. For $4,995.00. So yeah. Rich people, give me your money please, I will help you spend it better than that.

Totally agree. Narcissistic people have an entitled, the-rules-shouldn't-apply-to-me type attitude. That is what I think of every time I read an item on this guy. I wouldn't label someone I didn't know of course but sooooo many incidents involving him scream "narcissist!"

Yes, she has said she has a history of bulimia. There also seems to be a lot more attention recently in the media for EDs sort of "camouflaging" as health kicks and fitness obsession which is what this story reminds me of. Obviously no one can diagnose or tell 100% if someone is well or has an ED going on but if
