I think that they did a little more than run with it. They deliberately laid out that documentary with a heavy hand towards 'Byer probably did it'. Documentaries are not without bias — I mean, hell, obviously the first one is constructed around 'these boys are innocent'. (The whole series, really).
Even when Byers was a suspect, Berlinger and Sinofsky simply presented what was happening but never attempted calling him a killer.
Peter Jackson was actively involved in the West Memphis case for many years, and it was his and his wife's backing that got the case out to the Hollywood types, who did a lot of fundraising and publicity in conjunction with the WM3 website crowd. They didn't 'sweep in'; they had been there for quite a long time.
I have to say that it's been very disconcerting to see some really fucked up language on the Gawker mainpage since the changeover.
Wow. I feel like a jerk that I've been spamming up her inbox for months!
he was kind of like "survival of the fittest bitch."
But there aren't any starred commenters or even 'black' commenters anymore since the rollout. Anyone can dismiss a comment made to them; authors can dismiss any comment on their post. Thread starters should be able to dismiss any comment that shows up in their thread. Admins and Owners should be able to dismiss…
I assist in running interference on the mainpage trolls, but I can not directly delete them. I am still listed as a contact for comments on the about page and anyone is welcome to send me issues. I'll forward them to the correct party to deal with.
I believe it was on the Facebook page. And totally in keeping with everything that was on the original show and those 'never before aired' scenes from the recent episode. If shelf staple gnocci is her 'own cooking' then plating someone else's cake up and serving it counts as her own baking.

It wasn't on Nightmares. I've seen that episode several times.
The internet buzz was that they purchased the baking from elsewhere. There were no baking facilities that we saw in their kitchen and the show suspiciously spent zero time talking about it, so I don't think she makes them. How could she possibly have time to bake that many cakes/pies, etc every day and be the sole…
Gawker does not ban by IP unfortunately. Just email the mods (which, actually, is me).
To be fair, at least they knew the boat sank.
I think a point 4 could be added: It's not a spoiler if it's a historical event.
We moved overseas about six months ago and one of the things all three of us have noticed is that advertising is so much more effective on us now. It's completely because we have no ties to any local products and no ideas on what we should be buying, so the ads are pretty much the only way we find out about things.
You can comment and read any thread in GT even without posting rights. Several people host open threads that you can jump in at any time.
But the spin off isn't about The Mother. It's an entirely new cast.
