Oh, girl, there is so much more to that story. Like when I originally went to the hospital because labor started and she sent me home because it was her daughter's birthday, and she was mad that my checking in interfered with the birthday party she was at. Which, yes, I appreciate in theory, but it wasn't my damn

Hah, my daughter was just slightly smaller than your baby. She looked like a 3 month old compared to the set of twins that had been born the same day — there was no missing her in the nursery.

Oh, man. I set a record at the hospital I gave birth at for the largest baby delivered vaginally as well. My husband had been a big baby, though I wasn't, but I had been gaining weight rapidly during my pregnancy and was concerned that she was going to be big. To which my midwife replied 'You're just fat'. (Not that

No, you get extra bonus points, because I dislike Angel as well.

That seems to be the consensus.

I don't believe it is. The 'fake rape' episode aside, the show went out its way that season to deliberately distance itself from any 'feminist' overtones — something they have admitted to doing deliberately, in order to try and make the show more appealing — and one of the ways they did that was by painting the

I find Riley and Piz cut from the same MidWestern-ish standard of attractiveness — clean cut, All American, etc. Not my type of thing at all. Spike, on the other hand...

I am narrowing my eyes in his direction as we speak.

When is my promotional kitten basket arriving in the mail?

I don't think the show was vague — doesn't Logan admit he roofied Duncan's drink and this is a huge wedge between Logan and Veronica?

LittleBlue said Duncan raped her, which he did not. The rapist is Beaver. If I recall correctly, Veronica doesn't think that Duncan raped her (in that he took advantage of her non-consent), she thinks they had sex after someone else slipped them both a drug. I know that's the show kind of hawing a really fine line

I totally agree. Piz doesn't have highs or lows — he's just a nice guy who isn't super interesting. Riley's got highs and lows, but I think his lows win out.

They are the milquetoastest guys who ever did milquetoast.

Exactly! As soon as Riley wasn't a super power anymore, he couldn't handle Buffy as his girlfriend. His resentment was obvious. And then he cheats on her! And Xander ties to make her feel guilty for not loving a guy who, frankly, isn't worthy of her long term devotion anyway.

I sort of feel the same. There's nothing wrong with Piz — he's kind of a bland dude who isn't a drug dealer or possibly her half brother or guy with anger management issues. He just likes her more than she likes him. He's her safe rebound guy.

Its worth it to get to the end, even with all the heartbreak, but the 'feminists are the devil' storyline was such an obvious pander to get more people to watch/please the executives that I sincerely hope everyone involved with it feels deeply embarrassed by that arc.

I've seen Buffy more times than I can count and I'm currently writing the rewatch recaps for PMag, and I can assure, Riley never gets better. I think he fares worse with time, actually.

Now, now, I see her all the time on Lifetime these days.

Second best role that actress ever had.
