The state is so safe for Democrats that the person she was running against was also a Democrat. The two candidates in the general election were simply the top two vote getters in the primary, regardless of party.
There’s nothing wrong with getting a mani-pedi, but if it gives you peace of mind, sure, call it a date.
Many high end places these days make you pre-pay for the evening via services like Tock, or require at least a deposit through Resy, Open Table, etc. and have waitlists to make up for no-shows. That’s why they’re less concerned about folks who don’t show up on-time: they already have (at least some of) your money.…
All the restaurants that I’ve seen to have an officially stated policy say 15 minutes. These have been generally fairly popular places; you may be able to get away with more at a slower establishment. Personally I feel uncomfortable showing up late regardless of how many minutes.
I don’t condone this. However:
So let me get this straight: people want to threaten the employees and camera-studded property of a conglomerate that knows where they live and work, the identity of their loved ones, and some of their deepest, darkest secrets?
That’s if you’re following the recipe for “Jeff’s Baked Ziti-That’s-Really-Ziti”. Use penne all you want, just don’t call it real ziti is what he’s saying.
I’m saying you’re being disingenuous, because you knew very well what he meant. Should have conceded his point and played the whataboutism card on him instead, instead of looking worse for trying it now.
You’re reading it incorrectly. You’re using a product with microchips and said product was made with slave labor, as opposed to the slave labor products without microships that you were likely also using at the time of your comment.
Sorry, but where in my original comment did I mention iPace? All it addressed was your incredulity that a larger capacity battery could charge faster than a smaller capacity battery; I even stated it was a simplified example.
“But somehow the smaller battery isn’t capped at 80%?”
Simiplified example: Let’s assume we have two batteries. One has a capacity of 80 KWh, and the other has a capacity of 100 KWh. The larger battery is advertised as 80 KWh, and stops charging at 80 KWh via software limit.

“The electoral college is setup so that each state gets an amount of votes in line with their population.”
“If it was developed, why isn’t it an option?”
Somehow I wouldn’t be surprised if his stunts have earned him a place on Saito’s “Do not serve” list.
As far as I’m aware, the rule with Saito is that you can’t make a reservation unless you’ve been there before. In other words, at least the first time you go you have to be a guest of someone who’s been there before. There’s a lot of sushi places—and other restaurants—in Tokyo that operate under the same system. They…
Alliant Credit Union is currently offering 1.75% on their savings accounts, and there are others that are in the 1.8% range. Unless you really need to be making more than 6 withdrawals a month, there are better options.

None of this matters. So long as people are willing to fly Spirit and Ryanair despite how much they hate those planes, so long as people say that price is what matters the most, this will continue.
