I am well aware of that fact, which is why—if you had bothered to read my comment—I said they’d have to print 10,000 decks. If they had only hit the minimum of $10,000 all of them at the lowest tier, they would have only needed to ship out 400 decks. Even at those quantities it does not cost $25 per set to print, box,

Ship out 10,000 decks, for starters; it’s basically turned out to be a pre-order. There is nothing particularly risky about printing out decks of cards; you’d have to be particularly incompetent or malicious to screw that up. The goal was clearly lowballed.

1. Strictly following I-5 produces a route that is neither straight enough nor flat enough to produce a maximum acceleration of “only” 0.5g, nor will it actually get you to San Francisco.

Reminds me of this:

I’d think that depends on the religion

If wages have stayed the same relative to current dollars while fares have dropped 50%...

Tokyo?

Yes, yes, you feel insecure; we got it the first time. No need to beat yourself up over it.

In maritime parlance, a submersible is a boat. Surface craft that can launch other vessels are called ships.

The irony is that these massive lines probably present a tempting target.

And this is where I’m going to remind people that while paying for TSA PreCheck increases your odds of making it into the PreCheck line, it is not 100% guaranteed, and of course you’re SOL if you’re flying out of a busy airport/terminal that closes the PreCheck lines when it’s not peak hours.

Why would you ever, for any reason, check a bag?

I don’t know if Riot would consider doing this, but some game clients have an ID associated with the installation. Simply creating a new account wouldn’t do any good; you’d have to re-install the client to get a new client ID. And a few clients generate the ID based on system-provided information (UUIDs for example),

Depending on how much resources they’re willing to dedicate towards permabans, this could be pretty meaningless.

Straw that broke the camel’s back. Or ankles. Whatever.

I still don’t see the problem, unless you’re conflating the island of Great Britain with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Nothern Ireland. The island of Great Britain is a geographical entity, composed primarily of the countries of England, Scotland, and Wales. The demonym for people from Great Britain—aka just
