Nobody says you have to blanket the entire country with HSR though. The Northeast Corridor (where Acela—aka the only part of Amtrak that people like—runs) would be perfect for HSR.

I had it for a week. Even in Safari, when setting the resolution to “More Space” there would be times when scrolling down a content-/design-heavy site *cough* would result in tearing or even straight-up lag/chop. The alternative—keeping it at the equivalent of 1280x800—is a cramped, miserable experience.

Since you’re being pedantic about 4K terminology, you’re following the rules for 4G as well, right? 4G is 1 Gbps in stationary deployments and 100 Mbps in mobile scenarios. LTE does not incorporate enough new technologies to be considered 4G, nor does it achieve the speeds required.
