It’s cool how that isn’t even vaguely comparable.

I don’t camp much but I live in Texas so power outages are always a consideration. Usually in summer during hurricane season but apparently we have to worry about winter now too.

honestly I don’t think the repairability is going to be an issue, if you even have a minor fender bender in a modern car there are so many sensors to replace that the car gets written off as totaled 9 times out of 10. I guess the big thing is going to be if you have a new car have good insurance.

Or, you can buy a used Miata, and end up with an even cheaper car that will be far more reliable than an out-of-warranty BMW!

By all means buy a BMW that’s out of warranty.

This isn’t for a car, but against the tax credit for union-made electric vehicles that is currently being considered in Congress. The automaker is Toyota, whose factories in the United States are not unionized and thus would stand to lose from the credit.

When gas was crazy expensive under Bush after the Iraq war I remember a bunch of conservatives saying not to blame the president but whatever.
