Hadn’t heard of oil leak problems in NCs, so I did a quick search.   Turns out that the oil leaks are a bigger problem with the NA and NB than the NC.    And the engine sitting back is done for weight distribution - and it’s still easier to work on than about 99% of the vehicles out there.

Just look at used EV prices - they’ve cratered.   People are so far underwater in their EV loans they make the Titanic seem to float.

Bench seats and going to the drive in movies with my girlfriend.

We have some houses similar to this in our neighborhood. It’s harder to see what’s going on in the driveway from inside the house, and the shorter driveway can create parking problems - it’s not unusual when there are more than two cars in the driveway for the last car to hang out almost into the street, blocking the

If they *really* cared about costs (and maximizing shareholder benefit) they would cut executive pay and benefits.

The Beetle will be back as an EV, with the engine in the back as God intended, and not like the front engine atrocity known as the “New Beetle”.

You can fit four adults in a (two door) MINI - if you use a blender on the two adults in the back.

What’s funny is that normally there is about a 30 day supply.   So a 25 day supply isn’t all that less.   Plus more diesel was shipped *out* of the US in 2022 than in 2021......

The LS engines weigh about the same as the 911 engines.

Why in the world did Tesla make their own chargers?

I’ve long considered the 1973-1977 GM intermediates the worst of the lot.  Ugly, bloated, and crippled by smog regulation choked engines.  The next generation was a vast improvement.
