I just donated my 2004 Mercury Sable station wagon - had it for almost 16 years and put over 255K miles on it. The only problems I ever had with it was with sensors going bad - the first one at 120K miles.

Got my manual Alltrack in October.  My 5th wagon, four of which were bought new.

If I wanted a 30 year old 2 seater, I’d just pick up an old Miata. You can get parts for it, the interior doesn’t look as dated, more fun to drive, and has a bigger trunk for DD use.

I bought a 2019 Alltrack S MT two months ago. Dealer had just dropped the price by another $2250, and it was the trim level/MT/color I wanted.   I could have waited to find one with a little more off, but could have ended up with a combination that wasn’t quite what I was looking for.
