Katy Sagal is an attractive woman, so I always had some disconnect why Al always seemed to put upon that she wanted to make love. It makes sense if the character was written more with Rosanne Barr in mind.

Overall the portrayal was fairly neutral and threaded a fine line, mostly successfully. Either he's a gross guy you are laughing at, or a sad sack you are laughing at but still sympathetic towards.

My guess is they didn't change much of the underlying algorithm. They still know what you watch and if you finished it.

The old system was mostly useless. The new one doesn't sound that much better.

Yeah, I know they tried to calibrate to a user's typical score. So if you were the type of person who was like "I enjoyed the Godfather, but I'm not sure it deserves a 5…" it rated things lower than if you were the kind of person to give a 5 to everything you sort of liked.

It's B- stuff from her. Both parties cashing in on her celebrity, but it felt more like leftover bits and pieces than a new special that just had to be made.

But in the show she'd already incorrectly imagined the other Saxon in that role. So there certainly could have been ambiguity. Especially since I was under the impression she didn't own a guy before her rape, so that was a fantasy sequence.

Of course Perry would have to follow everything Celeste posted on Facebook closely!

I wonder how much of Ed was something Adam Scott and the directors worked out together. I feel that "type" is sort of believable. Guy who does everything "right", gets the girl of his dreams, but always ends up feeling like he was her second choice. Their marriage as amicable but lacking passion certainly gave

Interesting. I do feel like it added some depth to her character and their relationship.

Spending the first 5-7 minutes on Clark's backstory was a huge plot quagmire. I get the reasoning; they wanted to include it first season but couldn't find anywhere else it fits. They wanted to establish him as a person, not just a cog in a machine. But as a viewer I was hungry to get to the characters I cared about.

The show is shot in BC

And soothing images of sea water?

I imagine he reads a lot of physical books.

And a lot of Jesus from some of them. So much Jesus.

Considering even the constitution can be changed back by amendment, this is pretty meaningless.

What's interesting is to me the idea of a White Men Can't Jump musical is so bad, that made the whole thing funnier.

I think it justified him being able to run off and cavort with Hannah without needing to actually teach the class?

Please, no.

Who later was performing said activity out of boredom.
