To get pendantic, Dany clearly enjoys what Daario has to offer and would probably not qualify as a "lesbian".

Not so much forgive or empathize, but again stressing the theme that "bad people don't think of themselves as Bad People".
At least it is making more effort to be funny than last season.
I dunno man, Nicky was arguably more privileged than Larry, and the more we learned about her background, the worse she seemed. "Mommy always bails me out with money but doesn't show love" is a paper thin excuse.
I definitely agree that he became a narrative drain (although I feel like that happened more in later seasons).
Soso and Poussey are so boring!
I don't think Larry added much to the show. It is pretty funny that the real life Piper married "Larry" in the end though.
He's a by the book guy, and by the book guys tend to be fair to a fault, but also show a serious lack of leniency.
I actually find him to be an interesting character in that most of the viewers would see him as a villain, but he clearly doesn't view himself that way. He's racist, but not in a blunt hammer way. His issues with women make him seem chivalrous at first, until he is put in a position where he is made angry by women.
I kinda wish they had recast Rickon again this season. Seeing a 14 year old boy fail to zig and zag as he ran away was more disappointing than seeing a what… 10 year old? fail to do so.
Dany and Yara's dialog succeeded in being zippy and clever while failing to make complete logical sense.
The thing is, the Brotherhood is supposed to be about protecting the smallfolk.
I dunno, I appreciated that at some level, Book Cersei had a legitimate gripe about her gender role. In a different world she might have been groomed as the next Lord of Casterly Rock (or Tyrion could have), but instead that role was supposed to go to Jamie, who was not interested.
Other than the Red Wedding?
That definitely seemed like a moment playing to both of the extremely casual Game of Thrones viewers out there.
I think I enjoyed this episode way more than my wife, knowing some additional backstory from the books regarding the Blackfish/Jamie thing and feeling more invested in the Tyrells than she is.
I do think it's a little different when the original source material is a book, especially if the previous attempts didn't quite nail the source material.
The lightsaber fight in "A New Hope" is truly awful. It looks like a tall man in an awkward costume pretend sword-fighting with an old man with no sword-fighting training.
I actually sort of liked The Island, more than a lot of people. Minimally I found ScarJo and Ewan charming enough to shut my brain off.
In seriousness I forgot it existed. Did they yell "B5!" before firing and/or "You Sunk My Battleship!" at any point during the movie?
