Can we at least get an all female remake of Porky's first?

No, I haven't heard that song. But I've heard dozens of Tegan and Sara songs. I have most of their albums. This is the first one that I heard. Years ago around the time it came out.

This is the first Tegan and Sara song I heard. I dig it. I'm always surprised she didn't use 'exist' instead of 'insist.'

A good example of a limited budget improving the movie. If they had showed some big dumb monster it would have most likely been awful. But just a tentacle flash here and there was perfect.

I remembered that when I read the book it had a note at the beginning concerning the final chapter, but couldn't remember any more detail than that.

Didn't the book get published without the original ending? Or it was taken off the American version or something like that?

Very well said. I feel this way about almost all sci-fi. It has very interesting ideas, but then actually reading it bores me to death.

What is a song? If I do a note for note copy it's a cover. What about an instrumental version? An acapella version? Using the same lyrics, but with a completely new arrangement? Different lyrics over the exact same arrangement? When does it stop being a version of the original and become something completely different?

I'm kind of shocked that with the glut of mediocre, dystopian YA adaptations being made there hasn't been a 'Long Walk' movie made yet. I really enjoyed the story and it seems ripe to be turned into a fairly bland PG 13 movie for teenagers.

It makes perfect sense that someone that tells a story and with words and someone that tells a story with images would disagree about the best way to tell a story. I think filmmakers being too faithful to the source material has ruined more films than it has improved.

I've enjoyed several of his short stories, but have a hard time finishing the novels.

I vote for Swimfan: The Series

Tramps like us can't afford that

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

The sea was angry that day, my friends.

Otto and George is probably one of the most respected modern ventriloquist acts among comedians and he is known for basically just talking and not really even making an effort to keep his lips still.

Ron White was always the oddball in that group. The other guys definitely went all in on the stereotypical Southern humor gimmick, but Ron White was just doing really good stand up. He just happened to have a Southern accent. His first album has anallingus jokes on it for God's sake.

And helps himself to a Larry the Cable guy candy bar or 2!

I've heard multiple comedians talk about what a great comic he was before he adopted the persona full time. But then again, it's a persona he crafted on a morning zoo radio show, so it's pretty easy to see how lowest common denominator type stuff would really become his go to material.

In other comedians making money news, I noticed a Larry the Cable Guy candy bar at a gas station the other day. I asked the guy behind the counter and he said they were actually selling pretty well. So maybe Larry will be able to keep his job even with the loss of business due to cord cutters.
