500 million doesn’t even come close to the potential earnings this game has. GTA5 sold over 60 million copies. Multiplied by $40 [estimated average cost], that’s 2 billion 400 million. You’d have to bring an enormous amount of cash to the table, and the amount of platforms sold wouldn’t equal the amount of cash needed…
Why? To try to force consumers to buy their system?
I have never once based my purchase of a video game on the timed exclusive content it has. I buy a game if it looks fun, not because I get a map pack or special skin for a few months over other players. This just creates a divide in the community. Players should be enjoying the same experience as everyone else.
