I’ve seen that happen in the Division several times. It wasn’t the grenade that created the impulse, but the sticky bomb that the person behind him shot in. It was just missing the explosion visual/audio effect. Sometimes it doesn’t even have a physics effect, the guys just take the damage and often drop dead.

Yep. Stupid story that made no sense at so many points, but (personal opinion) pretty good gameplay.

I agree with you on that. Easiest example is Triforce Heroes. If they dropped that game and there was no mention of a full title on the horizon, I would have been quite disappointed, if not outright upset. I bought TH, played it a bit, didn’t particularly like it, and just let it go. Now I’m just back to looking

Archer had it right. It’s the nation-state equivalent of the short bus.

Mostly because you still get the Lone Wanderer perk when Domeat travels with you. That adds like 100 carry weight and other damage bonuses, and Dogmeat can still carry things for you if you still need him to (no matter how high your max is, you’ll still be halfway through a building and hit it before you’re ready to

I had always thought so too, but every time I watched that scene I willingly ignored the fact that you could, at times, see enough of his face to know he had those scars already. And, of course, his face hadn’t been freshly mauled (but was scarred) when he’s talking to ghost-Ben after fleeing from the Wampa. So I just

Haha, gold. Because, of course, more people get blown up than shot, right?

Had similar stuff happen last night with Curie until I noticed that she had a melee weapon in her inventory. Even damn time she would run up and try to stab people while I shot her from behind (giggiidy). Looking forward to harvesting all the companion perks I like so I can switch to Lone Wanderer/Dogmeat. Don’t wanna

Yeah, most of the reason I liked mgs4 so much is that the controls felt...modern, I guess is the right word. Honestly, can’t rembember much about the story (except that there was almost too much), but I do remember that the controls felt un-clunky. It’s been a while since I played either, but I think my personal take

Not quite correct. Any offline aspects (ie. just playing the game) don’t require PS+. Most of the online features, though, do require it (no surprise there). Here’s the official page, scroll to the bottom for more deets:

If you’ve already got an XBone, then there’s probably not going to be something that will convince you to get a PS4, unless you’re livin’ pretty and have the dough to blow. I’m on the other side of the fence, and that’s how I feel. Sure, it might be nice to play Halo again, but I’m happy with my PS4 and at least 80%

Pretty much spot-on review. Although things like exclusives are arguments to compare this console to the others, non-exclusives still need to be mentioned to just demonstrate whether or not this is a good console in and of itself (for example, the difference between “which console should I get” and “my friend offered

One thing I found funny about the casting for the Cleveland Show (no comment on the quility of the show itself, however) is that, since Cleveland is voiced by a white guy, they chose to have his white racist neighbour voiced by a black guy. Balance.

Lol, sorry. I only use bad names for people who prefer Froot Loops over Can’n Crunch. ;)

Ha, wow, different opinions. My favourites were mgs2 and mgs4, still haven’t been able to get into mgs3, after 3 separate attempts to complete the game (all of which just petered out after a couple of hours).

Well, that’s not what I’m saying. I’m just saying that guns aren’t like seatbelts. To use your own example, can you make an approaching car retreat by showing off your seatbelt? Anyway, I’m not interested in joining this debate. I don’t think your a bad person, and I don’t think you’re wrong per se, but I also

Funny, the only one of these that holds true for me is the being held at gunpoint thing, and all I can say is that if I had been carrying a gun myself it would have turned out so much worse. Funny thing that people don’t seem to grasp - guns don’t stop bullets.

Well...carrying a gun for protection is not like wearing a seatbelt, it’s more like strapping a landmine to your car so you can destroy anyone who hits you. A seatbelt’s protection would be more akin to wearing a bulletproof vest. I’m not looking to start a debate here, but the comparison doesn’t quite line up. I’m

I used to be an inverter. Then I worked on an FPS for the PS3. Having to change the setting every damn time I wanted to run a 5-second test from scratch made me adapt. I think it’s for the best and I tend to encourage my inverter friends to make the switch as well. That being said, you folks have my sympathy.

Lol, yeah, most supporters at a Trump rally only really care about the top right 1% of any page.
