A few of the cantina shots are using custom figures because they didn’t exist in the larger 1/12 scale like Bo’Shek. One of the guys on our team upscales 1/18 figures to 1/12.

Well some of those figures we had to make from scratch too lol. But most of those pics use physical dioramas. Anything on the death star is an official diorama you can purchase. Everything else is either hand made or commissioned.

Thank you! I use a Nikon D3300 with a Nikkor 50mm lens and Tokina 100mm macro. For lighting I have some desk lamps, my current and old phone and a lume cube.

Oh man I love those Bandai kits. I’m having a blast building, painting and (especially) photographing them. They got me bsck into building Gundam too

I just got back into Gunpla not too long ago. I think I enjoy photographing them more than building them though lol. Those finalists have insane skills and patience!

Makoto makes cool sabers with OK hilts and BASIC soundboards. You’re basically buying it for the bright LED string blade. Which I wouldn’t duel with.
