I always thought people were too hard on Age of Ultron. Not that it doesn't deserve a lot of the criticism, but all the Marvel has lost it takes was a bit much. Age of Ultron followed Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy, which are Marvel at their very best IMO.

I was surprised. 99/100 times I'd say Don Cheadle would be a better choice than Terrance Howard, but Cheadle is always trying to out Downey Downey. Howard actually played a foil.

Yea, it has its moments. I liked their werewolf makeup (was simple but very clear) and the secret supernatural society mythology. .

I'm a sucker for supernatural detectives, but they are rarely good. I enjoy this one quite a bit despite being very different from Hellblazer. Had they changed Constantine and Papa Midnight's names and not sold it as an adaptation it probably would do much better. At least bigger cult status.

I figured Casino Royale was a shoe in. I know they wanted to keep superheroes out of it as much as they could, but Batman Begins was very influential (for better or worse) and Casino Royale gives you the opportunity to write the Batman Begins article without Batman Begins. They both are the dark and gritty reboot that

I didn't say old, I said older. The New Warriors were supposed to be teenagers IIRC

Cast is a little older than I expected. Who I'm familiar with seems like a good fit, which is basically just Speedball and Squirrel Girl

There was a different line from this defense that I really liked. Maybe its just because she made it bold: "How long should a widow sit in isolation before YOU are comfortable enough to release them from their solitary confinement?"

I'd trade the version we got for the possibility of this version.

There are plenty more place to go but up.

Its more than just being relative though. It builds momentum and maintains pace way better than all the other shows. This has been their shared achilles heel.

"where everything is identical to the MCU, until it isn't."

Ricky Whittle, which is based primarily on his native accent playing up that forgotten part of Blade but is probably also influenced by the fact that he is a new face in a geek property that just organically gets him name-dropped for every other project for awhile.

My defense of Iron Fist is it is the only Netflix Marvel show that got better as it went along. These shows tend to either drag in the middle and course correct (DDS1 and JJS1) or drag and never get back on course (DDS2 and LCS1) However, at its best, Iron Fist still wasn't even close to being as good as the others at

Yea that was rough. Especially the part where they have to re-do the origin story to fix it.

99% of the reviews were favorable. The average review was 8.3.

I'm so glad we have heroes like you to fight the good fight.

I think he deserves some credit for this. We always attack rhetoric and careless political comments like Nugent's, especially after a tragedy is used to double down on them. The fact that this one (despite people's opinions of its severity compared to other instances) finally led to some self-introspection by a top 10

Don't forget the passive aggressive "But I'm just trying to be nice" counter response. Willful ignorance of self-awareness.

"I also am not sure I want people who don't have certain experiences speaking for those who do"
