This is a broad mischaracterization of my criticism. Just because I think it is spinning its wheels and not accomplishing much is not the same as wanting it to be linear and straight to the point.

And I'm sure it works better when you are able to read at your leisure instead of strictly scheduled chunks

There are narrative moments, stylistic choices, and charming characters that I find compelling, however, I'm getting a little sick of the structure. It feels like it is going in circles, and that is contrasting poorly with the feeling that its building up to something.

I don't think they have the rights to the Micrconauts unfortunately. I'm pretty sure that's why they changed the name to Quantum Realm from Microverse. It was a toyline tie-in. I think that is keeping Bug out of the Guardians movies too.

I could see them sort of doing it, but instead of a human body, it would have to be the Quantum Realm. I just assume the next movie will be about rescuing Janet.

I really dug the first one, particularly Fraser as O'Connell and Weisz as Evie. I thought they were a good duo. I also think they missed an opportunity to already have a modern shared Universal monster franchise had they pitted the O'Connells against a different monster each movie instead of drying up the Mummy well.

Original definition is not a great thing to be. I doubt they know what it is beyond a porn category, however, the original definition would totally fit their rhetoric.

Republicans can call Hollywood a bunch of liberal elites all they want, the studios are still owned by corporations run by Republicans.

Prof. X in the comics is no saint.

Yea, it'd have to be Irish Catholic Jesus

I agree. There are consequences for putting yourself out there. She made a choice, people were offended. They complained. They criticized. 3rd parties re-evaluated their professional relationships with her. That ends the story. It happens all the time. Collectively, we've all spent way more time on this then

My company has paternity leave, we have general medical leave of absence, however it is not 100% salary, its 60% (i think). Some won't be able to afford that, just another wrinkle in the whole process.

The logic behind it is while a woman is on maternity leave, a man is working, getting noticed, being proactive, and taking initiative that usually earn them promotions and/or raises. However, as a payroll administrator, paid maternity leave doesn't seem significant enough to create a wage gap, and that same "leave of

I was never much of a fan of the Bourne movies. I always thought they were too sullen to work as action movies, and the tension was too dependent on that action instead of the drama to really work as a thriller. A few cool fight scenes, the guy with the pen in his hand and the guy he beats with the book in the third

I really like Luke Goss as a bad guy. Between this and Hellboy 2, he is so good at angry rogue royalty. He still carries a level of dignity and distinction through all the anger and violence. He would be a kickass Namor.

I still cringe when I see that guy pull the pen out of his hand. Something about it just being slipped under a layer of skin instead of like really puncturing some meat makes it so much worse, even though that's probably not as bad of a wound (not a doctor, just guessing)

It is simply marketing of a high profile piece of pop culture representing females in a medium they feel unrepresented in. This guy's attempt to stir the pot has only revealed that despite all this misplaced melodrama no one is actively being excluded from the screening. I'm not even sure what this guy is so excited

Clearly

The latter part is WAY more than shitty, which was my original point. She's not doing community service for body-shaming. That just makes her an ass.

Body shaming is a dick move, but clearly the problem is taking a photo of an unwilling subject while naked in a locker room. If it was an objectively attractive person, it would be no less concerning. Or rather, SHOULD be no less concerning in the eyes of the law.
