Those shows have a structure, and one of the more iconic ones is not going to be the one to change, that is for sure.

More and more this seems like it could be the future of a certain kind of show, and I am ok with that.

The next one to succeed outside of Marvel I think will be which ever one plays fast and lose with "shared" concept. Cheeky references here and there instead of an integrated to the point that they are dependent on each other. I'm thinking the Freddy's glove in the Evil Dead Cabin and the Necronomicon in Jason's cabin

Hasn't that already happened once with Dracula Untold?

The image is not being used as proof of her leaving, it is in lieu of her not releasing an official statement

Right, but I thought he also said he would make possible exceptions based on importance. Not to put the Nolan Batmans on a pedestal. I just think they had a pretty big influence. And "true action" with no specialized context (like superheroes) also start to get rarer around this time.

Its an international franchise with a diverse cast, it is targeting a very large sample of audience members.

Batman Begins I'm thinking. One of the early "dark and gritty" reboots.

Avatar? Not actiony enough? It led to the contemporary boom in 3D

Influence plays a part, right? I feel like that might take Crank 2 and Dredd out of the running

"I regret Chobani and Twin Falls aren't full of rapists. Had they been, I would have looked way gooder"

But it seems like they also vaguely supported it because they figured it was too stupid to ever happen. So, they still got points for something that supporters were ravenous for.

Generally speaking, this shared universe concept should offer opportunities to crossover, not manufacture obligations to crossover. That kind of feels like the reason to keep it separate, which could have diversified that universe as a whole (not just social representation, but whatever uniqueness they think makes it

I really don't

I know everyone loves Spiderman 2 but I have a great disdain for that movie.

He'll probably defend A by the fact he doesn't seem to be asking for "damages."

I like how he talks about the "grievance industry" with disdain.

If his behavior is creepy after the fact, why is it hard to believe it might have been before it?

Is it the only payphone? He definitely doesn't have a cellphone. Do regular phones screw with his illness as well?
