Ricci is Misty.... Misty is Ricci. The old/young casting of Samantha Hanratty and Ricci is like all time great TV history. They literally make the show. The casting rivals Jessica Lange/Alison Lohman in Big Fish.

Fair, each their own. I enjoy some tension, as uncomfortable as it may be. The Voltaggio brothers come to mind, or even Stefan. I like some spice, a bit of gamesmanship thrown in.

Yeah, I’ve enjoyed this season quite a bit. The Middle Eastern guys have been a highlight, as has Amar and Budda. Last Chance Kitchen has also been really great.

Restaurant Wars used to be fantastic, like Top Chef in general. Lately, maybe the last 5-7 seasons.... in my honest opinion the show has been neutered into bleh. I still watch, but the show has zero competitiveness now, it’s all so inoffensive it’s simply boring. Or, it’s pageantry now...
