If there is a Bullwinkle J. Moose avoidance test there should be a Beavis and Butthead burn test. These safety orgs should light these “green” vehicles on fire and see how many days they burn, while testing the toxins they release in the air...

I’ve spent roughly 5 out of my 40 years in Spain/Germany, and I’m a Jalop. I pay attention to the cars around me, always have, regardless of where I am. I've owned dozens of weird, unique and cool cars. I had no idea that is what Opels old logo looked like, guess that sums up my thoughts on Opel....

Not really though, small displacement turbo cars explode regularly.

This car is worth, at most, $1000...

The CTR is one of, if not the most, rewarding cars to drive hard you can buy for under 50k. Im sure the Yaris is a spectacular vehicle and I hope to get the chance to drive one, hopefully Toyota deems the US market worthy. The absolute last thing I care about is either cars 1/4 mile time, a metric that has absolutely

I bought a car at Carmax in less than an hour. It was dope.

Probably considerably better money in it...

My worst experience was both Subaru dealers in my area. Tested a couple Imprezas and they wouldn’t leave me alone for months. Even after repeatedly telling them I wasn’t interested, and the calls continued after I told them I had purchased a car. Three to four times a week. As bad as extended warranty companies.

K Swap.

How about a used Mercedes? That’s what I’ve noticed everyone else buying with their TrumpCheck

Im an idiot, cheers.

Yeah, you're probably right, and now I feel like an asshole. Spending too much time on Reddit and Twitter, my automatic response now is completely defensive about anything I write on the internet... Sad really.

Yes, but only cars that I could possibly own oneday. I honestly could care less about some 1/4 million dollar McPorGhini. However, if I see read a headline about some car that I could possibly drive, or own, going around Nurburgring I always take the time to read the article.

Sorry, didn’t know it was a prerequisite to read the comments before making one. But thanks for pointing this out!

Driven one of these, though it was a car in better condition, meaning it had a running engine. The car was spectacular to drive and the only bad thing was the power plant. If I had a large garage, maybe a lift... I’d be all over this, it’s an absolute spectacular starting point for a track car. A K-Series in this car

Great idea until someone decides to not take some sort of wrap, plastic/rubber type material off of something that gets hot and burns down their brand new car. Which would absolutely happen....

This is the only answer.

My first car was a type 3. It was both a money pit and nearly killed me when it was ultimately totalled. So, yeah probably.

Something you won't die in, something that you won't have to dump money into and something you won't absolutely hate. Get a standard, it's fun and becoming proficient with one will be something that you will carry for the rest of your life. I'd say a Fit but I am biased. Just go with a Honda, Toyota, Mazda or VW and
