All I know is the Flyers drafted him, and had him on the squad for 4 years before shipping him off - this being the 3 decades where management got rid of (traded)ALL promising young players for superstar/all-star/hall of fame players about 2-5 years past their productive years. Man I still love watching him play these

We had an issue with him either eating his dinner or taking a shower and going to his room to read, and the only thing that really moved him was the threat of taking away his 2 hours of playstation time on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  I guess since that’s pretty much all the screen time for the week it will work for

Just had that tonight with the 9 year old.  He was willing to go hungry rather than eat chili for dinner.  When given the choice to eat or go take a shower and then off to his room to read he pitched a 30 minute fit complete with crying.  I mean I know he’s 9 but every once in a while I forget because he is so tall.

My oldest is 9 and already up to my neck. Now I’m not tall or short by any stretch (5'11") but how am I supposed to tell him to clean his room up when he’s in middle school and I have to look up to tell him that.

I got those same phone alerts at 330am twice since my wife’s phone was about 3-4 minutes before mine.  She asked like 10 times if we should wake the kids and go into the basement and I told her I didn’t feel like dealing with the three of them on less than 10 hours sleep.

I thought the initial point of contact was the jaw and I was really surprised that the dude wasn’t checked for a concussion.  It looked absolutely brutal.

While I agree that it is pure hockey with much less physical interactions, they also play on a vastly larger ice surface which severely penalizes the inclusion of shitty goons in your lineup. And that’s why its a more pure form of the sport. I love the hard checks and even proper hip checks and when I was younger the

I never played so that’s a good enough explanation for me.

That’s a real tough one. I don’t think it was a tripping penalty on the goaltender and I don’t think that was interference. IMHO I think a no call, goal stands is the correct call there.

I love em. And your price point is spot on. I can buy two 8 oz packages of them for about that and cook them at home. I saute them in olive oil until blackened and then sprinkle some kosher salt over them.  Fantastic!!

I’ve never had that happen with the Nvidia one.  It shows the little box when I start a game and then I never see it again unless I hit the key sequence to bring it back up.  Guess I’m lucky.  I used to have it save every kill and death in PUBG but then it began to eat up too much hdd space.

I root for him when he’s not playing the Sixers.  He’s fun to watch.  And when him and Embiid play against each other its fantastic.  I hope they both stick around for the next decade or so.

Not a fan of the Bucks, but he’s a dude I’m pretty sure anyone can root for. I know I do when he isn’t playing against my team.

I’m in the Philadelphia suburbs and whenever work takes me to DC it’s on the train. You can either walk or get a quick Lyft/Uber to wherever you need to be in about 2.5-3 hours.

What world do you live in?  It’s a very well documented that 9 times out of 10 its the retaliation that gets penalized... in all sports.

He is part of a union.  And it at least used to be a very strong one.  I’m not sure if it still is though.

I’ve never been to Japan so that’s good to know then to grab that cash at the airport. But as for having your bank shut the card off, I usually let the bank know where and what dates I’ll be travelling so that they know that it’s most likely me.  Assuming I haven’t been rolled in a bar/disco/cafe parking lot and had

Fair enough.  I guess I just lucky with my choice of card since I’ve never given it a thought to look at when getting credit cards.

Shouldn’t you be using a credit card for most foreign purchases anyway? That’s usually the best rate of exchange and I’ve yet to see any fees on my cards. Depending on where you are going you can probably get by with as little as $20 in foreign cash per week.  And if you have a few bucks left over its a nice

Haha.  Jawn is a regional word that can substitute for pretty much anything.  As for ketchup on eggs, I’ll respectively disagree.  To each their own.
