To be fair, Chitwood is originally from the Philly suburbs and was the chief in a town that was mostly non-white.

To be fair, I believe Chitwood is originally from the Philly suburbs and was a Police chief in a town that was mostly non-white.
I have to agree with a bunch of the replies that this, like most Lifehacker posts, is flat out lazy and clickbaity. We own a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath end of row house that we’ve updated with central air - something no other house on the block has. We respond to all requests for maintenance, update/replace items between…
I don’t get that either. Star Wars is supposed to be fun. It’s fun entertainment with some great and some not so great characters and stories. It’s not created to win awards or be overtly moralizing, it’s meant to entertain...nothing more, nothing less. And to pick them apart for production values that you won’t even…
My Asus gaming laptop was bought 6 years ago at around $800. Still runs PUBG at 50 fps, New World at 40ish, DayZ at 40-50, and The Long Dark at 60. Obviously not the greatest but still playable and since I stink at the FPS games the extra quarter second the higher frame rate might give wouldn’t help anyway.
This article doesn’t mention convection ovens. Does using the convection settings mitigate the hot spots? I know if the oven thermometer is off, its off but I would think the fan would spread the heat evenly.
The majority of these require you to live in an area with zero wind or to be out there constantly wetting them down, which is a waste of water. I mow them into the lawn until they get too thick then its out to the curb for the township to vacuum up for their municipal mulch operation.
Totally love the mango pepsi.
So how does the gravy from the hot roast beef pot not make the cut? Is that too pedestrian?
My wife and I have one of these and quite honestly all I need to do is look in the mirror to know I’m fat and need to lose it. The weight is the main number for me since even though I am overweight, I’m moderately active and have decent muscle mass. Obviously not enough muscle mass but I’m working on it.
That’s good to know. What brand? As my boys are getting older they are taking over more and more of the yard work so what do I care if they have to do it with a push mower as opposed to the tractor. It’ll be cheaper in the long run and probably better for the environment.
Ooh. The blue marine stabilizer is good to know. I have a Deere rider as well and I should do the annual maintenance in the fall but we are loaded down with soccer so it usually waits until spring. Maybe I’ll try to take care of it on warmer winter day in the garage.
I loved my electric mower when I lived in the city. Now I live in the suburbs with a half acre and an electric would be a major pain and a battery would never last. So I’m stuck with a ride on for now.
Yep. I hate the fucking half acre of grass I need to mow so the ticks and snakes stay somewhat controlled. Once my kids are gone we’re going full raised beds vegetables and flower beds in the back. The front we’re currently reducing grass coverage little by little every year.
“And do you know how much soil is in a 40 pound bag”
We are loaded with clay about 6-12 inches down in my town so water just ponds. No good.
One of the neighbors that backs up to one of our town’s travel baseball fields has a monstrous squarish boulder, say 5'x5'x6', that is a fountain on top and has colored lights on it. It is really odd and out of place. It looks like they are just trying to flex as they put it on the edge of their property the abuts…
I’ve always placed the scallops on a plate on top of some paper towels and then place paper towels on top of the scallops and top that with another plate and put a few pounds of canned goods on them to help squeeze out a little bit of extra water. I only buy dry and it works for them so I imagine it will work on the…
I demand to know how much the Yinzer lobby is paying you to write this nonesense!!! :P
Literally the only item in this list that is either not already known or somewhat obscure is getting enough sunscreen on your kids. It’s impossible to be sure they’re covered unless you do it yourself. Our 11 year old is getting there but he always forgets his cheeks and shoulders. They just don’t think about it so…
