After Thanksgiving dinner it’s a nice Scotch

I thought about it with Jahlil, but I already put a couple Sixers on the list, and well since they’re not so good currently it felt odd to have that many on the list.

No. Not really.

Lets have him start with NYC first and see if he fucks that up before setting him loose on the country :P

Yeah. Further down in the this string (or up at this point) someone made the point that the regulations in question are probably things along the lines of height restrictions, multi-unit dwelling restrictions and the like. Things I didn’t even consider.

I think this person has a point. I know I give you shit about your writing style and some of your positions (and I know I cannot do what you do so I do appreciate the fact that you do post on these issues), but if you feel this impassioned about these issues, why not? You can still write about them as you campaign,

Ok. Like I said earlier, I wasn’t sure which regulations the OP was asking about, and honestly I didn’t think about those. Good info.

That’s true, but who’s paying the lawyers to go after the big corporations? The little guy doesn’t have that kind of dough and if the lawyer is working on the “I only get paid if you get paid” basis, they’re probably taking more than is customary.

That is true, but if you’ve read his posts, its a pattern with him. It’s funny but I generally agree with his financial point of view, and generally disagree with his union point of view, but either way, he just doesn’t do a full treatment in most of his posts. When he does, even if I don’t agree with him, they are

You need to figure in the salary for the engineer or lawyer who has to apply for all the permitting plus markup on those fees and salaries that the builder will tack on. Plus, most builders are putting up 10-50 at a time. I agree, that for a single dwelling not much, but also in a lot of the municipalities you have to

That’s way too much for HamNo to do. You know he never includes all the information, only that which supports his view. Its not a great way to write. He should bring to the front arguments counter to his point and then disprove them to make his case better. As it is, he tends to be a bit lazy.

I’m not sure what type of regulation the OP is referencing, but if it’s the regulation that involves building codes, then reducing that is not an option. You do that and every developer will start cutting corners and the houses will be deathtraps.

Fair enough on Simmons, except, that until he plays we could go back and forth on this. And at 19, his body just isn’t ready for the back to the basket down low game. I also believe he will be either a small 4 or swing 3, just he’ll handle the ball more than your typical 3 or 4. Again, I have no problems leaving him

Yeah. I don’t watch as much basketball as I used to and when I do, I watch mostly my hometown team (Sixers, so not much in the past 3 years) so I knew I was missing at least one if not more really good young big men.

It looks like a new era of dominating bigs is starting. With Towns, Embiid, Simmons? (we’ll see when he plays, but looked good preseason), Cousins, and a few others.

Union Jacks in Glenside PA (Philadelphia suburb) has unbelievable wings. Add to that, their tap selection is usually one of the best in the area as well and it’s about a perfect place as you can get.

HamNo is very good at reducing large complex ideas into small digestible bites. It’s why I have a problem with so many of his posts. He makes a pronouncement and then has nothing to back it up; like his word is good enough. If he feels that way, his posts should be labeled opinion and not an article or journalism. An

Thanks!!

So what’s the website?

No cell phones in PA polling stations either.
