The wii isn't about the "shape of the controller" Its about motion control.

There is nothing to indicate that the new console won't also have similar motion control scheme.

Well to be fair Nintendo has been king in the handheld market for so long because of a lack of real competition. The PSP was Sony's first go of it, and I think they learned a lot from their first foray into the portable market.

I'm not saying that most of the FF weren't linear. I'm saying there is different degree's of linearity.

Because barely anybody makes fun of Mario.

It will be given a run for its money though when the PSV hits. They are the priced the same, the PSV has more power under its hood, it looks to have a ton of games already, most of which aren't ports or remakes.
