While you are right in saying the reader has a responsibility to accurately read the entire article, that does not in any way shape or form absolve the writer from writing misleading headlines, and giving false information.

I think you missed my point entirely. Before Kotaku caught wind of the PS3 firmware thingy, the retraction was already issued by Rockstar.

The more likely explanation of the missing update tag, is that it was posted after Rockstar retracted that statement.

FYI, there is now an easy, permanent and not peripheral device requiring way to put CFW on the PSP Go.

The hardware failure on the 360 was overplayed. Not in the beginning, but certainly it is now. Newer 360's were much better designed.

Rockstar retracted their statement already. Its the game itself that is causing the overheating on both 360's and PS3's.
