The interlude is about 3-6 hours in length, it lets you shop for items or such in the beginning, but then you have to complete 4 hard dungeons back to back, without being able to restock or tents or potions or cottages. So with such limited items, you can't grind either.

Its possible that multiplayer functionality will be restored until then. I doubt the PSN store though will be up before the end of the month.
