I hate it for different reasons, it's not offensive, it's just awful to say Latinx, that's why many prefer Latines, given that it works better with the language and it accomplishes the gender neutral message.

I don’t know anyone who actually uses this term “irl.” I only ever see this term used in articles like these. FWIW, my Latina(o) friends absolutely detest this term.

I still cannot stand that song. It’s unwieldy, uncomfortably produced and mismatched as all four of the performers seem to be stuck in their own songs. Hated it in 2001, was really annoyed at how big it was, still don’t have any nice thoughts about it. I’m glad it didn’t become a pop classic at least.
