I feel like a gritty Nancy Drew reboot would fit right in on The CW. Maybe Veronica Mars crossed with Riverdale. They could pair it with a gritty Hardy Boys reboot.

Actually about the time you tapped out is when the episode makes a bit of a tonal shift. About halfway through they discover the plot and the tone shifts a bit. There are still some jokes but they fit in better. The first half was a bit rough, though.
...when there’s a tragedy like this, the first thing we should be thinking about is praying for the people who were injured and doing whatever we can to help them, to help law enforcement.
I feel like there are the seeds of a good show here but right now they’ve kind of botched most of the execution. I think it was a mistake to make the Inhuman protagonists so overtly bigoted towards non-powered people. If they had just been rigidly adherent to the caste system and maintaining the status quo…
I think she stayed and her happiness came from the fact that this is the life she chose. Prior to that she always felt trapped by her family responsibilities and was resentful of it; Rick gave her the chance to finally choose her family, relieving her of the resentment.
I wonder if they know something we don’t. I’m not saying Knowles didn’t do it; I’m actually inclined to believe him capable of it having read some of his reviews. Still, it’s just a single allegation that he’s denied. Seems a bit extreme for one of the site’s most prolific writers to just immediately walk away,…
Everything sucks—at least if you’re smart.
This seems like it might be a combination of the stories from the two reboot games. The shipwreck and island stuff seems straight out of Tomb Raider but the stuff with Trinity and her father is from Rise of the Tomb Raider. In both cases, though, it was kind of “fate of humanity/the world” type stuff. If they didn’t…
Sure was. Starring Rob Lowe of all people. Technically it’s based on the book that was based on the song but close enough. I don’t think it’s a romantic comedy, though. Also it came out in 2002 so it’s 7 years too early.
She made it sound like Sam and his mother went to that island intentionally so it’s possible that they were always part of that group or were turned and just faked their deaths. Jackson’s father may have also been responsible for bringing them there. Either way, Abigail doesn’t seem to have had anything to do with it…
I just picked this up for the PC in a recent Humble Bundle but I’ve been hesitant to play. I’m assuming they match you with people around your skill level but I’m always a little nervous jumping into team-based online games for the first time. What’s the community like? Is it fairly quick to get into?

I’m not familiar with many homicide detectives who investigate ancient supernatural extra-dimensional beings that have routinely terrorized, murdered and eaten children for hundreds of years while simultaneously being powerful enough to influence the mind of an entire town to overlook that fact but I would imagine if…
It’s an interesting idea. From what I recall Mike in the book stuck around Derry in case IT ever returned but that never amounted to much aside from him calling the others back. The idea that he dedicated his life to finally putting an end to IT and that going to all these dark places took a toll on his life is an…
The post FFX-2 stories are absolutely atrocious. He either dies again 5 minutes later or they break up. Well, I guess the break up one is okay because if I recall it’s later revealed SIN has returned and she has to go on another pilgrimage and was just trying to keep Tidus safe.
The most glaring issue is that the sculpts and paint jobs are generally kind of sloppy in comparison to the real thing. I’m more likely to notice and remember that than some of these minute details. It’s good to know, though, as there are some fakes that can be almost indistinguishable aside from those tiny little…
Jesus, people, give him a break. English is his second language. The first, of course, being Russian.
So he seems like the typical religious exploiter and I wouldn’t trust him not to steal a quarter from a baby but...
Why is half the cast of GLOW there? I’m not complaining, I love the show, just surprised. Have they worked into pop culture already?
I think that’s just improved model work and graphical power. Elena seems to have always been based off of Emily Rose’s appearance.
Yeah, I watched that whole trailer and it looked fine. The facial animations could use some work but other than that I’m not seeing the issue. There’s certainly nothing that would qualify as bad or make me think it’s a disaster in the making. The worst I could say was that the character models look like graphically…
