Chill out, nobody is doubting your team. First of all, he uses a computer for all of his simulations- do you think the computer is a "doubter"? Second, he has you above Duke. So, ya know, maybe chill out.

[ignores entirely]

He does! He's a huge proponent. I liked him better when his only drugs were God and the long run.

But but but Ryan Hall drinks Bulletproof coffee and he used to be fast!

Why the fuck are you replying to a seven month old sarcastic comment?

No, but I don't think she has a very good point about the wording either. Trail running is a very, very dirty sport. Look at pictures from the North Face 50 Miler last weekend. It's an inside joke among trail runners and has nothing to do with track and field/road racing's doping problem.

Either come right out and say "Nike athletes dope, I have seen the following athletes take drugs" or shut up.

How does that change her point at all? She says the race attracts 60,000 runners, and that's true. The race also attracts over 60,000 applicants. It's a different way to say the same thing- it's a popular race.

It is, but their US headquarters is in Atlanta.

I'm not trying to argue, I legitimately don't see your point. Can you clarify?

Counterpoint:

Good job so far. Christ.

OH! Good point. You sound really nice.

Awesome write up, thanks.

That might be the reason that running 2:45, 2:30 would be very, very easy for him. But there are thousands of Kalenjin people in Africa- the reason he's the best is because of his training.

Yeah totally- the reason you can't run a 2:03 marathon is because you don't give a shit about running a marathon. Definitely.

If you are a runner, it's very easy to relate to what the professionals are doing- you can run the same marathons they run and compare to them. If you have a stud marathoner in your home town, he might be a 2:30 marathoner, which is a 5:44 per mile pace. The winners at major marathons are doing 4:44 per mile, which is

Des Linden has a much better chance of winning NYC than Meb had of winning Boston. Meb won Boston. Can you believe Meb won Boston? I can't believe Meb won Boston.

My wife has Celiac disease, so we LOVE the fad- there's gluten-free shit everywhere we go now. But yeah, it's ridiculous.
