Agreed. As the situation kept escalating throughout the middle of the episode, I was laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe. I don’t remember when I have seen a funnier episode of television.

I still have intense memories of family vacations I went on in grade school.  You think these kids will forget all about several years on the road by the time they are in their late teens?  Whaaaat?

Is SV good again? I loved it for a season or two, but I bailed out a couple years back.

I would have agreed with you earlier in the season. But as I noted upthread, he showed integrity in fending off the hug (contrast that with the agent’s behavior), and his interactions with Barry in class showed real insight and teaching ability.

A generation is a group of people born during certain years, not a name for people a certain age no matter what year it is. You’re making the same mistake people made about Generation X fifteen or twenty years ago:

I noticed that too. This episode seems (other than the hilarious mention of being “47”) to be something of a redemption arc for Gene. He came across as genuinely caring at breakfast; his fending off the hug seems to indicate that he is strict about keeping things professional rather than being a sexually predatory

I’m with you, except moreso. Here’s what I mean:

I hope you’re right, or it’s going to be very disappointing.

Same, and it was a mistake for her to let Claudia live IMO.

So why the minus? I don’t mean so much because I thought it was a truly great episode, but in your excellent writeup, it sounded like you felt the same.

Right? SO intense.

I thought Jasper was essentially written out of the show because he wasn’t funny and dragged down every scene he was in. But it was too harsh to kill off a child character, so...

I thought as soon as she learned her quarry used her name, that she’d get a Special Forces type assigned to protect her.

Yeah, good points. I thought as soon as the name thing came across the transom, they would assign her a Special Forces bodyguard or something.

Why are clubs open and rocking at dinnertime on Sundays? I spent several days in Berlin in the ‘90s while bumming through Europe, and I was impressed by the club scene (I would spend the night at a club and then sleep on a blanket in a park during the day), but I didn’t realize this was a thing.

I would consider the final two episodes of the season among only four or five episodes total that would get a B or B- from me (I don’t think there were any that merited more than that).

Yeah, Adams needs to speak for himself there. What did he think Elizabeth was going to do, pickpocket him? Honeytrap him and steal the ID back? Too complicated and he might run a check on her before she gets the chance.
