I love how they say it’s faster than a 325e ... yes, probably doesn’t take much to be faster than a car with a 4500 rpm redline.

The gains are much greater if you put on in each runner in the intake manifold.

Possibly, but it’s not really feasible to even try ... every module is in the hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, not including the programming/coding/adaptation to the car, which is for the most part still dealer-only.

I agree with others that if it has to be 4th gear, then the speed range needs to be 40-60 or 50-70.

They’ll all be 9 years old by the time they actually get delivered ...

They’re in a tent outside the parking structure.

So the parking garage of the future is like the parking garage of today with extension cords running everywhere? Good to know ...

I put my money on it making it no issue. The m30 is a solid workhorse of a motor, and given there’s a manual trans behind it literally makes me think that it will go the same as if you rented a new car to drive the trip in.

All I get from reading the comments here is that everyone’s idea of what a small car and a big motor is varies to a huge extent.

Love the way that looks, especially the black one!

I disagree. A real world person will likely jab the brakes instinctively no matter what the situation and end up worse off than the video.

I drive a manual and almost always have (1 instance of about 4-5 months with an auto while I still had a manual car as a back-up), but honestly my next car (for daily duties) WILL be an automatic.

Right there with you. I think 4500 is absolute top dollar I could ever see spending on this thing.

I did an armrest delete in my mk4 VW and it’s bittersweet. They’re flimsy and look terrible (and at this stage all broken unless you go buy a new setup at the dealer) so I justified it that way, but at the same time, there are times (especially late at night after a long day when I’m just cruising along at some slow

You say broken weld, I say increased articulation angle.

Yeah no joke. Paint work aside, I could make the fiberglass repairs needed on this thing in a couple of hours...

It’s sadly the fact that they were cheap to begin with, most people ran them into the ground, and then their values plummeted into the stance-crowd territory.

I have owned the middle 3 generations: e36, e46, and e90/e91. They all had their strong points, and things that weren’t so good, but from an overall standpoint, I’d say an e46 is king.

Come on now guys ... you have to understand why they wont have a manual ...

I think this is far better than any shop, but just for the simple fact that you can say the manufacturer restored it.
