I can understand mixing up a few states, honestly. The thing that got was how many low scores therewere because that average is skewed. Many people in the class got 48-50 right. Many people were also in the 20-30 range...

Tangential, but i TA’d a course in college where the first problem in the homework was naming all 50 states which were numbered 1 to 50. The average score was 41/50. Really showed me what the bar is to be accepted into college.

Or that Trump bragged that he is “very Presidential” because he showed the slightest bit of restraint toward bashing John McCain(while insinuating he was talking about him).

As someone who has a degree in the field of atmospheric science, its fucking maddening to hear shit like this. I have spent over a decade in school and in my career thinking and studying about this stuff but some fuckwit who “spent some time looking at it” is apparently more qualified than i am.

Yes! This. So many fucking times. Our society has a problem with litigation and nobody seems to give a fuck. If you can afford high priced lawyers you can get away with so much. You can look at recent attacks on media outlets, decades of slumlords getting away with breaking the law, our current President, etc...
