Hmmph...all I got was a little pack of crackers on my last flight!
editing has really gone downhill on this site. I spent a good 45 seconds scrubbing that sentence thinking surely I missed a “not” or something since they didn’t share what the motive was.
“A possible motive has been reported on why the pilot would want to down a flight operated by his employer’s subsidiary, Horizon Air.”
I’m in california. We’re busy legalizing theft, so that’s pretty much it. But at least we have an abundance of in-n-out burger joints, the ocean, decent ethnic food, and miles of sweet as cars with no rust, so there’s that.
Waiting for the dealership-stans to tell us about all the value junk fees bring to the car buying experience.
The article title should be: Americans cannot afford electric trucks in 2023. This has nothing to do with sedan vs. cuv vs. pickup.
I have to disagree on the idea that ford half-assed it with the E-150- they know what their customers want (an F-150) and they delivered that. If you want an f-150, you don’t want someone to rethink it. You want something as f-150 as possible.
A made the mistake years ago this was a car enthusiast page, but after years of people defending slow Camry’s in the left lane, waxing poetic about fuel efficiency as a reason to love a car, and ripping on anyone who prefers to drive a manual, I’m convinced I’m just here for the comments now.
I’m fully expecting your comment to be shadow-banned within the hour. I’ve been complaining about this since GMG took over this rag. The GMG union took a great website, killed it, gutted it, and are now wearing the skin as a costume to further their political agenda. Case closed.
As a pedestrian, I‘ve literally never had an issue with vehicles turning right on red. That's because I'm an intelligent human being who understands that it's important to make eye contact with the driver of that vehicle, or otherwise ensure that they are clearly not going to start moving when I step in front of them.…
Normally, I’d agree. But it seems like this article is yet another anti-car hit piece from this supposedly driving orientated magazine. Why do you hate cars and driving so much, Jalopnik?
Nah, leave it up to local municipalities to make their call. I’ve had countless hours of my life wasted yearly due to having to wait at intersections at red lights where absolutely zero cars passed through the intersection for the entirety of the light cylce as I was waiting for green. I’d add ban the bs left turn…
This is useful for search results, but could y’all please filter these out of your RSS feed? (Lifehacker: are you trying to lose all your RSS subscribers?)
At minimum, please remove the how to watch, connections, etc from the rss feed. At least I’m not getting “I’m too dumb to play wordle” articles anymore.
Ugh - it’s Friday so we’re getting another dump of pointless “how to stream” articles? Please be better than this.
Don’t get me wrong, I recycle everything I can, but the sooner everyone realizes that recycling is almost worthless the better off we’ll be.
I’m good, thanks, but if I ever need a painfully slow and overweight jack-of-no-trades unaerodynamic lump of 9MPG-getting dogshit I’ll have this and most of Jeep’s catalogue to consider.
The focus on CEO salaries is probably good for their PR, and definitely taps into the “eat the rich” mentality...but paying them $1 isn’t going to solve the problem.
If you are going to have a gun on your hip during a traffic stop, don’t then also be aggressive to the cops. He didn’t get killed just for having a gun. You also might have missed that the gun was on the floorboard, out of its holster, meaning he either unholstered his gun or had a loose gun available during the stop.…
This went down the way it needed to. I am normally very critical of any killing at the hands of police but in this case it’s pretty black & white. This “Sovereign Citizen” was the aggressor and earned his Darwin award, full stop.
