Anytime my fried eggs get annoying to cook it’s time for a new pan. I just keep replacing it with the small, cheap one at my local grocery store and it works great for a surprisingly long period of time and is so much better than trying to cook eggs on a pan that stick.

They don’t tax it if used for medical expenses though (if they do that would be information I haven’t seen anywhere). Save up your receipts over the years and you should be able to get a lot out tax free. If you withdrawal in retirement as normal income it’s like a Roth IRA.

Not saying you won’t have issues with your specialty pharmacy and an HSA but with an HSA you don’t lose any of your money. You can switch jobs, switch insurance types, whatever, and your money stays in your account. You can reimburse yourself for any out of pocket health expense after the date your HSA was opened.
