Right now that won’t work, this stuff is nearly impossible to keep in stock as it is. The market is absolutely insane so getting a deal isn’t going to happen unless you’re working with the commercial type companies and dropping some serious coin (Sorinex, Legend, Prime Fitness, etc).

lol I always tell people to stay away from calibrated plates unless they compete and are serious about it. Those things are a pain and you can get Rogue 6-Shooters, which are so easy to move around, for cheaper and they are within 1% weight tolerance.

Thanks for the link, that was an interesting read. It’s unfortunate that so much is still unknown and we are trying to piece together the data as best we can. Anecdotally, a friend of mine has been sending his kid to daycare this entire time and even when one of the teachers popped for COVID it didn’t seem to cause

You still have to get the weight up in the rack position for front squats. Back when I used to front squat and clean a lot my best front squat was over 90lbs heavier than my best clean. Interestingly enough, even with less weight front squats have shown to be just as effective for quad development as heavier back

Chris Duffin released some free plans for a DIY rack that even folds up. Certainly more difficult to build than what you did, and probably more expensive/less maneuverable but I found it interesting none the less. Even put out a DIY bar plan and since he is an engineer who also squats 1000 lbs I assume it’s legit

It will be interesting, albeit morbidly, to see what this does to fatality rates of other diseases given how COVID disproportionately kills those with pre-existing medical conditions. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see an uptick in suicide deaths either.

I am pretty surprised you’re seeing $1/lb. Gyms have been open here for a while now and $2/lb is still the going rate with most of the available stock on Craigslist/Offer Up being crappy CAP plates that have no business selling for $1/lb in normal times.

My daughter recently started back in a summer program, it is a small school and has less than 20 students in the summer program. They have been taking very reasonable precautions and I feel very safe with her going there. It has also been noticeably good for her well being as she seems very happy and is enjoying

You do have the internet though right?

Just order some online

Is this actually a thing right now? I haven’t had any issues with finding soap.

I have listened to the Shapeshifter track an embarrassing number of times since that dropped

I wish I could star this so many times. This needs to be a dedicated article. A+ work, thank you good sir.

Well that certainly sounds easy, and delicious. Now I need some biscuits because I have the rest and I am hungry all of a sudden.

I would love a gravy article. I feel like gravy is a mystery to me and it’s probably super easy.

I can’t really put my grinder in the freezer because it is a large, more commercial sized grinder. I just grind my meat with a partial freeze on it and haven’t had any issues.

People who don’t take advantage of the stock market for long term investing are idiots. Good luck retiring on your less than 1% savings rate and paltry CD rates.

I couldn’t use this one when my dog had an allergic reaction (or something, not totally sure but we tried about 50 different things) on her eye. The cone of shame had to be worn for quite some time so I got one that was soft but had inserts to keep it a little more rigid. It sure seemed a whole lot more comfortable

I mean, it’s not wrong, it is just a lazy comment that has been used time and time again. I’m all for both companies copying the best features from each other.

There it is, the comment on basically every new ios post since Android became a thing.
