Witcher 3 shout-out! Started playing December (no DLCs...yet). Got this advice but started considering against it after the holidays because I had to go to work again. Also, felt like I’d have to reschedule all my 2017 resolutions for 2018 if I did not fast travel. Despite that, only ended up fast travelling maybe 3%…

I feel for you. We had largely the same thought processes while playing the game but I got the best ending, Ciri-wise. If it is any consolation this write-up is a really nice exploration/explanation of the game. There are realizations here I haven’t figured out for myself even if it’s been weeks since I finished.

Very meh. I play it regularly but only because it is bite-sized distraction that fits my schedule. But Go is no more than a shadow of the Nintendo games. Gym battles can be fun but, IMO, the interface still needs a lot of work. Not to mention that, unless you work in a place tagged as a gym, gym battles could tire…

My playthrough’s a bit different, all because I read the Kotaku guide that said “Don Juan it up” but missed the sentence that said “When you tell someone you love them, you’re committing.” several lines down :(.
