I normally “get” cars, even when I don’t like them. But these are hideous, and they offer none of the benefits of an SUV, CUV, Wagon, or car yet someone manage to keep all the negatives of the above? Did I mention they are hideous?

Exactly my complaint. It’s a top down approach and we don’t actually know if this is the best tech. Imagine the innovation if we just set a maximum fuel level and a maximum C02 level and let the brilliant minds at all these race teams come up with their solution.
