Completely agree. But, when it is “about the numbers” and those numbers include price (both purchase and maintenance), it’s crazy how much speed you can get with a “pony” car right now.

It would be helpful if you put the times of the cars it is faster and slower than so we can see for comparison’s sake.

I’ve said this several times, but if you are looking for a car which is fast, cheap, and reliable, look no further than an American car with a fairly large displacement v8 (or 10 I suppose) up front.

Agreed. Considering an SS 1LE put down faster times in Motortrend’s Driver’s Car of the Year comparison this year, I’d be surprised if an M4 GTS could beat a Zl1 around the ring.
