I would much rather have 6 cupholders in the center console than a gear selector.

Imagine if the EU had done this earlier. There would have been a Gerxit.
It’s also absolutely gorgeous.
Not a Lexus hater.
One thing I forgot to mention is ride quality. It’s pretty harsh on an R3 (I’ve never driven a GT) if the roads are rough near you.
It depends on what you want in a car. They are similar in some ways, but very much different cars. The reason I haven’t sold the ATS and bought an RX8 is mostly because of the image and luxury factor. I’m a 32 year old lawyer turned venture capitalist turned investment banker so “image” is far my important in my…
It’s bad news for the children. As a car-obsessed kid growing up at the tail end of the gated shifter era (F355 baby!!), I thought (and still think) they are the coolest.
Totally subjective but I found it to be uglier in person.
Her’ Merkel would be very upset about that name
Agreed. Tough to beat either the v6 or the SS in their respective price ranges (or a few grand above).
I agree with you. My point was BMW should be out due to his cheap maintenance and repairs condition.

I wish there was a love button.
Good point. Over 6 feet tall and you may not be able to fit a helmet in a camaro (at least a 5th gen, I’m not sure how different the interior dimensions are on a 6th gen).
Mine is an ATS 2.0 but I drove an RX8 R3 not too long ago and it changed my life and perception about driver engagement and how cars should make you “feel.”
I saw this as well. Odd detail not to know considering all the drama surrounding the bump and all the pissed off 2001 owners.
Lotus or Audi :^)
I currently own an ATS 2.0t and I agree it’s a good pick. Really fun to drive and wring out on a regular basis.
