Even rebranded as Nikki, Nimrata would have have had a way harder time fitting in with white conservatives 40-50 years ago. I wonder if she actually forgets she’s not white or if she’s just that cynical. 

I get that 60s style comedy might just seem dated now. I think I had high expectations because characters often fawned over Midge as the most talented and the most hilarious person ever.

I have avoided this “reboot” like the plague. It sounds like I made the right choice.
