Hahaha! Careful with that, though. They might think you secretly like them because you mentioned their penis.

It’s funny how men want to discuss their needs right in the middle of women discussing theirs.
Giz comments are a hive of scum and misogyny. I used to LOVE Giz and now I can’t even read it anymore.
I remember seeing one poster online that said something to this effect:
You’re excellent :)
BUT WHY AREN’T THERE WHITE PRIDE PARADES. AREN’T I ALLOWED TO BE PROUD OF MY RACE TOO.
Tell me, when was the last time you were concerned about being raped? Or when was the last time that someone threatened to rape you?
The point is that it’s hard to have a conversation about how women are treated if then it’s always immediately changed into a conversation about “it happens to men too!!!”
Considering you’re telling someone to cower and quietly run away from a problem where cowering and being quiet don’t work, and it’s been obvious for decades, it’s extremely tone deaf.
If this were about conservatives or the government they’d be falling over themselves to praise John Oliver, but no...not when he points out their sexist bullshit.
Wait, he said this while you were standing over him with scissors?
Wow, is that seriously Colin Hanks as ’90s Internet Guy?
As a guy, I’m happy another guy made the point that most level headed males would make (this is an assumption that most guys in my age group of level headed, which is probably wrong). Yet it’s terrifying that the idiots that do attack these women online will find a way to use this to further justify their point.
Right? I was like “uhhh you may have missed the point...”
I wasn’t really mad at my husband, because I had a bit of a fearful reaction too (these comments were made through Facebook and I was scared about them seeing my kids on my profile picture).
Sadly, that’s even what most cops say to women who experience online harassment.
