you want 2 stroke? Replace it with the sound of a Johnson outboard being fired up out of the water.

I'm not gonna take a side on this. I'll keep my opinion to myself guilty or not. Something that's been on my mind and bugging me. I've been listening on sports radio, and it astonishes me these guys get paid what they do and are totally ignorant of the sport of racing.

lol I remember both of those pace cars. I don't live there anymore, but back then I had no clue what a 3000 gt vr-4 was. i was a punk teteenager that only knew about loud v-8s and cruising the loop. Do you remember the 2 vw beetles that raced in the mini mod class? I have never seen beetles in that class since at any

Yes. 1/2 mile are the largest tracks they race on usually. I really enjoy the 3/8 mile tracks as they tend to be drivers tracks. There are a few quarter mile tracks that I enjoy too.Lone star used to be an IMCA sanctioned track and a few cars would get invited to boone. I still get to see SUPR late models, which is

modified and late models aren't sprints, although they are a class of dirt cars. They fall more in a fendered class and behave very differently. Winged, and wingless sprints are as spoken. The wingless sprints behave a little different since they don't have the downforce but can be just as fun to watch as they dance

I was so mad that night. Isolated thunderstorms in the area. it just sprinkled a little at the track. And to throw salt on the wound, it never did actually rain at the track. It was enough to make the track tacky. And I love a tacky track race. That's my hometown track. Are you from Longview?

Off the subject, but I'd like to educate you jalops on the great form of motorsport called sprint car racing. I will not go into the mechanics of them because you have probably read all about that from this incident.

also add mud and dirt flying onto the helmet.

For those of you who have never been to a dirt race, sprint cars have to pace at a faster speed under caution. If not they stall out. Consider maybe tony did slow down for the guy to where the motor was stalling. And touched the throttle to keep it running. And yes with the power of those cars can make it fishtail.

keep in mind these cars have a wider power to weight ratio than a F1 car. Also these cars do not have transmissions. A big 410 motor straight to the rear wheels. Also, if the car stops, it stalls. They have no starters and have to be push started. I'm not saying either party is at fault. Just a few winged sprint

In the captain's defense, which it was an outbound flight taxiing to the runway going to Charlotte. Before the correction, he was just given a 28 minute hold time on the taxi way before he can take off. That's not only frustrating for passengers, but for crews as well. They want nothing more than to fly their lines on

that's actually really cool. I wish Louisiana fish and wildlife would do that for bass and sacalait in the atchafalaya basin and vermilion bay.

Not to mention, it hurts the car count. I haven't met a fan, racer, track owner, or race organizer that doesn't enjoy a full car count in every class of local racing.

now explain the physics of a 410 winged sprint car on a clay 3/8 mile oval!

most of your dragsters like that one when not limited will usually have a high 8 or low 9 dial in. So, for someone with no experience at a racing school, 10s are pretty fast.

I havent seen the purple and gold tiger stripe lambo running around town in a while. Last I saw it, it had a side mirror hanging off. My neighbor had a black lambo for about a month. Not to mention there is a yellow Ferrari living further down the road.

I think there are very few production cars that run even high 10s in a quarter.

I guess I need to drive around Lafayette and snap pics of all the Ferraris and Lamborghinis around town. Don't judge what you don't know about.

Louisiana resident here. The northern part of the state outside of the Mississippi flood plain is hilly. It is not mountainous, but lots of rolling hills and thick forest make for some pretty fun driving roads but can also be dangerous because you never really know what can be over every crest or curve. The same can

Isn't there a rally version of the paceman that competes in the ERC?
