Yeah dude I get you. My first DC game, DOA2. I think stat-wise the system was short-lived, but at the time it sure seemed longer. Jet Grind Radio, Phantasy Star Online, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5, SF Rush 2049, Skies of Arcadia, NFL2K, and on and on and on.

My Dreamcast ended up having a strange history. I bought it back when they dropped the price to $99 and... forgot about it. It remained unopened in the box until about 2003, during a period where I was so poor even buying used games was largely impossible. Remembering I had the Dreamcast and the ease of finding ripped

My friends and I had a running day for playing DC games for at least five years after they discontinued the system. Seeing that it was cancelled in 2001 doesn’t surprise me, mainly we didn’t play anything other than Power Stone, Soul Calibur, and Virtua Tennis.

You can still play a few Dreamcast games online with a Dreampi.

username checks out :O

Yeah that was really the first time you were getting arcade perfect or near-perfect fighting games at home. Great days.

POWER STONE!

I mostly just skimmed this article and saw no mention of Power Stone. Well you may not have mentioned it Ethan but now I am thinking about it!

Never thought about it, but a completely white Switch looks absolutely fabulous! Would fit right in besides my white PS4 Pro.

Be still my heart.

Yup, “we’re not marketing to kids” is bullshit here. But this isn’t anything new. I remember commercials from when I was a kid in the early 90s for Terminator toys - from R-rated movies that kids weren’t allowed to see in theaters without an adult - with shouting, excited 10-year-olds ripping off artificial skin from

Yeah, the old io9 would have been all over this movie. But I guess they need the extra column space for teenybopper CW shite.

Jason Momoa as Lion-O. From your lips to God’s ears.

I recently watched “Wolf Warrior 2" and I laughed out loud at just so many segments in the movie where Chinese patriotism far exceeded anything that I’ve ever seen in an American-made film.

In China movies about the Sino Japanese War (WWII) are big, especially when they show scenes of Chinese heroic soldiers massacring Japanese troops and avenging China, none of which happened in real life, by the way.

I would probably go crazy in under a day there. lol

I figure once the critics take a bite out of that Venom stand alone, this may get put on a shelf for a few hundred years.

the ending to Get Out doesn’t make a lot of sense. the lead’s fingerprints and belongings were all over the house of this, as far as anyone can tell, murdered family. you can’t just ride off into the sun after that...

Yet another property that absolutely does not need a sequel.
