That I don’t know... But the supply shortage isn’t really a big problem here in the UK.... A few places in stock as I type.. Dunno why Japan has a shortage, maybe they should cut back on distribution in some areas and allocate them to Japan and then we can find if it’s as successful as the Wii.
I’m the same... Gave the Wii U a miss simply because I never had time for it. But I salivated over its games. With the Switch, I can play it anywhere and I’d gladly buy all the Wii U games for it now. So people using “well the Switch doesn’t have many excluzz” or “Rather play that on the Wii U”.. those people are few.…

The US SNES is not ugly, just different. Having bought the US one back in its heyday and owning the Pal SNES as well. The difference is just too far removed for me to think it ugly. And now in these retro collecting times... It has a charm about it.
Slightly off topic, but this makes me salivate for the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony even more. We all know that Nintendo and Mario are going feature heavily or could even be the main attraction. Hopefully they make it one giant Nintendo ad :)
I’ll only buy one if my trusty 1080p Samsung dies.... All because 4k TVs have insane input lag. Even the best 4k TVs don’t come close to our old 1080p TVs.
