Well I ask under the lack of knowledge that I don’t know how fluent Japanese actresses are in English. And that I ask as in if there wasn’t much alternative. I know the beef China and Japan have with each other.

I’m not familiar with the Japanese elite.. But most millennial Chinese canto actors are born and raised in Canada. This is because the old gen Chinese actors either retired there or invested in Canada. That and English speaking country’s education are highly regarded in China and Hong Kong. Oh the irony!!
