Voted CP.

Owner and loving the Sentra 17’(MT not the CVT). Honestly the most dependable daily I can have in a budget.

This proves VW reads Jalopnik. +2 points in my book.

Looks like it has 3 pedals. Plus 1 for that alone.

Is it possible that we can change the way horsepower ratings and fuel economy are advertised? Showing max horsepower and claimed fuel economy sucks because you can not hit “both targets” at the same time. That lil 1.0 liter will be screaming bloody murder pissing those fuel economy numbers down the drain just keeping

Remember when Porsche built that SUV and the 911 purest hated them for it? Now that forward is doing well selling these mega trucks we are able to get cool things on the U.S. shores like the RS

The driver is at fault for sure, the spectators should stop giving these jackassess an audience. Let the drivers hit a lightpole on there own.

I don’t see any of the jalopink community purchasing this over a miata. What I do see is FCA using this confused roadster as a entry drug to their higher offerings. More like “product placement” than miata twin. Also, what miracle does it take to get ungrayed? Thanks!

If it’s not from an actual Benz dealer, then I would be more inclined to stay away. There is a reason this baby is being unloaded at that price point.

True, also you should never meet your heros!

It could be worse.... Good use of the term SITREP, thought you were in the service for a sec.

The copies are so poorly executed it’s not even worth the time or money.

“reminder to look for multi-compound tires that can handle the commute and rain”

As the world’s largest free nation, we will always be involed in conflicts with or without the publics knowledge.

When will people realize that there’s probably someone filming you 99%of the time. It’s sad that our paramilitary units have not figured this out yet!

Drove the turbo while stationed in Germany in the early 2000's. Peepy lil thing it was. Problems with the cool system for starters. The turbo gauge was quick to sweep to the right once you buried your foot through the floorboard indicating some type of boost, but more of a drama inducing eye candy toy than anything

1st Gear: At this point it seems there should be a world court developed to sue the hell out of VW if the people had their way. With all of this suing going on the only ones who win are the damn lawfirms. This has reached a level beyond ridiculous.

2010 TDI owner here. Glad that somebody has the time to drive cross country and make a stance. On the other hand my job choices in life don’t allow these kind of road trips. I would be fired in a heartbeat. Why don’t we ask the question on why the government is making these “very difficult” to reach emissions goals?

Decent production intro, then it just goes downhill from there.
