One guy actually cut his off and welded the GT86 ones on. In my case, I got an aftermarket catback from GReddy. That’s literally all I’ve done to mine, but I get what you're saying. When it comes to mods, you never know who installed what and if it was ever done correctly.

The only thing that really disappoints me with the stock ones are the muffler tips, they're ugly as hell :/

I used to go to a local BRZ/FR-S meet and there would be roughly 40 or so of them there and none of them were bone stock. They all had something done to them, most reversible though.

My BRZ is practically unmolested! It's unheard of I know!

As an owner of a BRZ, I can confirm people call it an FR-S.
